ABOUT
DAVID HUNE is a singer and songwriter from Osnabrück, Germany, whose music exists between vulnerability and grandeur. Blending elements of Alternative Pop, Dark Pop, Rock and Rap with deeply personal songwriting, he turns intimate experiences into atmospheric worlds shaped by love, longing, self-doubt and the moments that linger long after they are over.
After introducing himself with his debut single "tunnel vision" in 2023, HUNE began steadily expanding his musical identity. In October 2024, he celebrated the release of his first EP "it's always worse at night". Written from the perspective of sleepless nights and restless thoughts, the EP explored love, fear and vulnerability through a darker blend of Alternative Pop and emotional Rap. In March 2025, he released "stop the hurting, it's over now", a quiet and introspective EP built around acoustic textures and stripped-back arrangements. A standalone single, "roses are red, violets are dead" followed in November 2025.
Then it went quiet.
Taking nearly a year to focus on his most ambitious project yet, DAVID HUNE began building his debut full-length album, "After//Love". The record marks both a sonic evolution and the beginning of an entirely new era. More cinematic, immediate and distinctly pop-driven than his previous work, "After//Love" combines nocturnal atmospheres with expansive production, infectious uptempo moments and a sense of nostalgia. Echoes of artists such as THE NEIGHBOURHOOD and THE WEEKND can be heard throughout, while HUNE retains the emotional intimacy that has defined his music from the beginning.
At its core, "After//Love" tells one continuous story: the life cycle of an intense relationship, from its first spark and intoxicating highs to distance, collapse and the question what remains when love is no longer enough. Rather than capturing a single emotion, the album moves through different stages of attachment, desire, uncertainty and loss.
"After//Love" is not just the next release. It is the beginning of a new chapter.
